• Private Party Transfer Policy and Fees

Private Party Transfers are by appointment, Note To Me: please call us at **** or email us at *** subject “PPT Appt”. If you do not have an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we may ask you to return at a different time.

• (FFL) Transfer Policies and Fees

*We are happy to receive transfers from other FFLs, firearms must be transferable in the state of California and it is your responsibility to confirm your firearm is legally transferable. Please Note: If we receive a non-transferable firearm you will still be charged the FFL fee and you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

*You must notify us in advance that you intend to use us to transfer a firearm. If we receive a transfer firearm without prior notification, we will return the firearm to the shipper.

*All transferred firearms must include an invoice or bill of sale. We will not transfer firearms without an accompanying invoice/bill of sale.

*Firearms do not have to be received from an FFL. We do require non-FFL shippers to include a photocopy of their ID or Driver License. If this is not included, the firearm will be returned to the shipper.

Sales and CA Firearm Excise Tax: We are required by the State of California to collect Sales Tax and Firearm Excise Tax on out of state transfers, please contact us to discuss when/if we will have to collect taxes on your transfer.

• Ammunition Transfers

*We are happy to receive ammunition for you. We must be notified in advance you intend to transfer ammunition.

*Ammunition must include a bill of sale or invoice or we will not perform the transfer. You will still be responsible for the transfer fee and return shipping.

Ammunition Transfer Fee: $20.00 (Regardless of Quantity)
CA Ammunition Background Fee: $5.00

Sales and CA Firearm Excise Tax: We are required by the State of California to collect Sales Tax and Ammunition Excise Tax on out of state transfers, please contact us to discuss when/if we will have to collect taxes on your transfer.

• IMPORTS AND EXPORTS

We offer Import and Export Services. If you would like to import or export a firearm, ammunition or defense article please contact us to arrange a phone consultation.

Fees:

Import License Fee: $550.00
You will be responsible for the following additional costs of importing a firearm or defense article:
Shipping, Customs, Broker Fees, Federal Excise Tax (if applicable) and engraving {Federal Law Requires Imported Firearms to be engraved with the importer’s information}. Sales taxes and state excise taxes may also apply.

Export License Fee: $600.00

You will be responsible for shipping costs to the ultimate consignee.

• CONSIGNMENTS

*Consignments: We want to help you sell your guns! Please contact us to arrange a time to evaluate your firearm(s) for consignment. Consignment contracts are for 120 days. We accept consignments from all 50 states and even from international clients (please contact us about importing your consignment firearm). 

*If you are a CA resident, the State of CA requires us to report and hold your firearm for 30 days before it can be transferred to a buyer. This period is excluded from the 120 consignment contract.

*If you are a CA Resident, you must provide valid ID to place your firearms on consignment and provide a thumbprint to the State.

Consignment Terms:

*Firearms must be left on consignment for 120 days (excluding mandatory reporting period), breaking this term will result in a $100 fee.

*Retail pricing will be determined through agreement between consignor and consignee.

*Firearms will be advertised online and in-store.

*Federal and State Law requires consignors to perform a background check and waiting period to retrieve guns left on consignment. All DROS fees and waiting periods apply to returned consignment firearms, no exceptions, out of state consignors must provide an FFL to retrieve their firearm and will be responsible for shipping & handling.

*Please contact us to discuss additional terms of consignment.

*Fees: 15% Consignment Fee + $20 Non-Refundable Listing Fee which will be deducted from the final selling price of the firearm.

• TRADE INS & PURCHASES

*We love trade-ins!! We will accept your firearm in trade towards any new or pre-owned (including consignment guns!) We will evaluate your trade-in, inform you of what we intend to resell the gun for and offer 75% of this retail price in credit towards whatever you would like to buy in the store. It is our promise that you will not see the gun advertised for a penny more than what we told you, if we advertise it for more than price we told you, we’ll pay you the difference in cash.

*We buy firearms too! Every gun is unique and purchase offers will be made on a case-by-case basis.

WHETHER PURCHASED IN-STORE OR SHIPPED OUT OF STATE, IF YOU RECEIVE YOUR FIREARM AND WITHIN 3 DAYS YOU DON’T LIKE IT, RETURN IT FOR A 100% STORE CREDIT OR MONETARY REFUND. SHIPPING AND BACKGROUND CHECK FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING FEES.

*NEW FIREARMS MAY BE RETURNED WITHIN 3 DAYS IF THEY ARE RETURNED UNFIRED AND IN 100% FACTORY CONDITION INCLUDING ALL ACCESSORIES PAPERWORK ETC.

*PRE-OWNED FIREARMS MAY BE FIRED DURING THE INSPECTION BUT MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION IN WHICH THEY WERE SHIPPED, INCLUDING ALL ACCESSORIES ETC.
